The small animal sculpture is handcrafted according to ancestral primitive techniques. Women solely craft the modeled potteries. They usually make functional objects for rural life (pots and vessels carrying water, drinking, or preserving food). But also build animal potteries to delight children.

The warm and earthy tones, as well as the tone-on-tone drawings, give the artifacts a natural beauty.
