Consider you want to infuse Bohemian Christmas Style into your home. In that case, the important thing is to open your mind and call upon your creativity. The key word is Freedom.
So what you have to do is break the codes.
Get inspired by the traditional Christmas: tree, ornaments, and wreaths, but we adapt them to our sauce. To have a bohemian soul is also to listen to you, detach from the norms, and mix the genres to create your Christmas decor which looks like you.
Boho Christmas Decorating Ideas
O Sustainable Christmas Tree
Instead of the traditional Christmas tree, for example, you can choose a large branch without its leaves. The simplified tree will give minimalistic sophisticated Boho vibes to your Christmas decor.
Or even pieces of wood hung on the wall, from the largest to the smallest, figuring a Christmas tree in its most basic form.
Our Moroccan artisans produce design and bohemian trees. The basket makers, who also work eucalyptus wood, make them out of light wood. The same wood they use to create our handcrafted Moroccan furniture.
Nature Inspiration and DIY
Even small adornments can make big statements.
To have your own boho-themed Christmas, take inspiration in nature: dried flowers, wood, natural materials and fibers, fruits, and spices. And most of the time, do your ornaments yourself. It is fun to make them, and more, you will be proud of yourself.
Let your imagination run wild to create a poetic and enchanting decor.
Natural cotton cord tassels with wooden beads.
The traditional orange slices (and it smells good too!)
What Inspire me for my 2022 Bohemian Christmas
We can easily be guided by the Scandinavian style which fits nicely with the Moroccan bohemian style.
A cozy Moroccan-inspired atmosphere.
The Latitude 31n Christmas
This year, I dreamed of a cocooning Christmas, soft shades derived from white, without too many contrasts. Off-white, ivory, and beige combined with earth tones and wood.
I selected furniture and home decor from Moroccan handicrafts and handmade products with neutral colors and little patterns—the Beldi chic style with Scandinavian accents.
The Ethnic Chic Moroccan style allows me to create a cozy and warm space. I associate plant elements and homemade adornements with handcrafted items made of natural materials.
I chose cactus silk cushions handwoven in Morocco. I selected them for their faded worn look and earthy tones.
They bring a touch of warmth and their vintage design fits well with the bohemian style.
