True collector’s item and curiosity.
This cow’s head woven with natural palm fibers is mounted on real horns.
The cow head is the perfect decoration object for collectors and lovers of rare and original curiosities. The cow horns are added to a cow’s head sculpture made of Esparto sea rush, a solid seagrass found on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. The statue is hand-woven by Moroccan craftsmen, true artists with nimble fingers.
To hang alone or on a wall of curiosities to create eye-catching and unusual decor, like a small personal museum.
Rustic farmhouse style.
Why I love it:
The addition of horns makes it an authentic and exceptional taxidermy curiosity.
2 different models. The height is approximately 12″ (25/30 cm).
With a hook L, hang as it is, and the head seems to come straight out of the wall.
No animal has been mistreated for its horns.
It may have certain irregularities that are the guarantee of its authenticity.
Handmade in Morocco in a resistant Mediterranean seagrass, called doum or esparto, similar to rattan, wicker, or bamboo. They are all unique and can feature different designs. There may be slight variations in shape, size, or color, depending on the condition of the material. The color is sometimes green when the material is new and becomes more and more light beige, yellow, or tanned, with time and sunshine. To accelerate the yellowing of the fiber, leave the suspension in the sun for a few days.
For further information about the material, please read our article about doum.
